Join us Tuesday night at our open meeting as we welcome guest speaker Ron Trowbridge. Ron Trowbridge is always one of our most interesting (and hilarious) speakers, and we can expect his expert commentary on a range of subjects: the presidential election, the current Supreme Court standoff, and how our tax dollars are being used at the local level in the Lone Star College System.

Prior to this, Dr. Trowbridge was appointed by President Ronald Reagan as the director of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the United States Information Agency, directing the Fulbright Program. This position required U.S. Senate confirmation. Later he became chief of staff to U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger. He holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Michigan, where he taught for several years. He became a tenured full professor at Eastern Michigan University and late Vice President of Hillsdale College. Hope to see you there!
