As residents' water bills have been skyrocketing, water has become a big issue in Montgomery County. We have heard the views of concerned citizens who say we have enough groundwater to keep us from having to use water from Lake Conroe. We've heard the view of the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District, who says that the opposite is true. We hope you'll now join us to hear from Jace Houston, the General Manager of the San Jacinto River Authority, about the SJRA's operations and what it means for residents and the lake.
The SJRA is in charge of developing, conserving, and protecting the water resources of the San Jacinto River watershed, including Lake Conroe.
This is sure to be an informative discussion for all those concerned about water rates and the lake level.
