Texas Patriots PAC announces support for Strahan and Swanson
(The Woodlands, Texas) - On Tuesday night Texas Patriots PAC announced their support for two Texas House of Representatives candidates whose districts lie within Congressional District 8.
In the open race for House District 18, Texas Patriots PAC announced their support for Keith Strahan. “Keith Strahan has demonstrated a passion for limited government and American values,” Julie Turner, President of Texas Patriots PAC, said. “It is about time the people of House District 18 had a true champion of liberty representing them in the house, and we look forward to the great work Keith will do on their behalf in Austin.”
In the race for House District 150, Texas Patriots PAC announced their support for Valoree Swanson, who is challenging incumbent Debbie Riddle. “Debbie Riddle started her career with a good conservative voting record, but unfortunately has succumbed to the pressures of the Austin establishment,” Turner said. “Whether it be her votes against pro-life legislation and American Laws for American Courts, or her vote for the Democrats’ $15 minimum wage bill, Rep. Riddle has shown that she no longer represents the values of her district. We believe that Valoree Swanson has demonstrated not only the commitment to conservative values, but also the fortitude to withstand the pressures in Austin that will make her a welcome change to the 150th district.”
House Districts 18 and 150 lie within Congressional District 8, where Texas Patriots PAC endorsed candidate Steve Toth is mounting a serious challenge to 20-year incumbent Kevin Brady.
Texas Patriots PAC, a non-partisan Tea Party organization dedicated to the election of candidates who share their core values of constitutionally limited government, free markets, and fiscal responsibility, is based in The Woodlands, Texas. For more information, please visit www.TexasPatriotsPAC.com
